Macro ("we", "us") is a photo calorie and macro tracker. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your personal data.

Information we collect

• Account — your email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google or Apple Sign In).
• Food photos — images you capture or upload to log meals are stored in our object storage so you can view your history.
• Nutrition & profile data — meals, macro/calorie logs, body weight, goals, and the profile details you provide (e.g. height, weight, activity level) used to compute your macro targets.
• Purchase data — subscription and trial status, processed through our payments provider (RevenueCat / the App Store). We never receive your card details.
• Usage analytics — app events and diagnostics (e.g. screens viewed, features used) to improve the product.

How we use information

• To provide core features: estimating calories/macros from your food photos, logging meals, tracking streaks and weight, and computing your targets.
• To operate your account and subscription.
• To analyze and improve app performance and features.

Third-party services

To deliver these features we share the minimum necessary data with:

• Vision AI provider — food photos are sent to an AI model provider to estimate nutrition. Images are processed to return results and are not used to train models.
• Authentication — Google and Apple, when you choose those sign-in methods.
• Object storage — to store your meal photos.
• Analytics — to understand usage and fix issues.
• RevenueCat / Apple — to manage subscriptions and purchases.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app, which removes your profile, logs, and photos. You may also email us to request deletion.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by using in-app controls or contacting us at dante.rivadi@gmail.com.

Children

Macro is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
